Class A Chimney:Do you have a chimney that's leaning and pulling away from your home? Are you worried that a "good wind" could knock it over - maybe on your new car or - worse - someone's head? If so, then you will really want to look closely at the photos on this page. They were taken at the home of one of our clients who could easily have answered "yes" to any of the questions above.
Timber!
Take a look at the photo on the left. Note the top of the chimney has pulled away from the home. Well, if you follow the chimney from top to bottom, you can see that the entire chimney has separated from the home.
A Closer Look
Wow! Not quite wide enough to drive a Mack truck through but wide enough. If you notice your chimney pulling away from the house, you would be well advised before the situation begins to look like this one.
Support for the New Chimney
This is the support for the new chimney. You can also see where it enters the home. Take a look at the later photos to see the added support for this base.
If you would like to see what happened to the old chimney click herel What you will see is something that could have happened without being under the control of chimney professionals.
Taking Shape

Support at the Top
The chimney is securely supported above the roof.
Roof Support
Note that the chimney is supported at the roof top, along the side of the home, and at the base.

Support for the New Chimney
This is the support for the new chimney as it rises along the wall of the home.
